"Pebbles was the perfect getaway, being able to wake-up, sit up in bed and see the sea and hear the waves was fantastic. We were blessed with warm weather so were able to have a BBQ on the patio whilst admiring the views. We had several walks along the beachfront. Folkstone was just a short walk away. Pebbles is so pretty and had everything we required including binoculars to see the ships in the sea - there is a website where you can see the names and destinations of the ships going past...

"What a wonderful property Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The property is very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, fridge with a small freezer, coffee machine toaster, the host provided tea, coffee pods, hot chocolate and snacks. The host had also left bread and milk for our arrival. "The most idyllic cosy weekend retreat. We absolutely loved our stay fully immersed in nature with just the sound of birds, rain and the crackling fire in our cosy shepherd’s hut for the weekend. Breakfast in bed was perfect thanks to the supplies Becca kindly left for us. Watching the sunset and moon rise against a sky full of stars each night was also very special. "Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. Very Romanic ( wont take the kids next time) Nigel the host very friendly and helpful. Sooooo relaxing, local pubs good and...

"We had a super stay in the lovely Shepherds Hut and we had complete privacy. The hut was furnished with everything we needed and there we some very thoughtful touches. Sheep were very sweet. Get location."

"An excellent stopover place- only 11 mins from the tunnel, with easy access to the town and the beach. Clever management of space and comfortable bed. Not in winter, but lovely little garden space with outdoor furniture too."

"We had a lovely quiet break, the caravan was clean and had most of the equipment etc you would expect. The bikes were a bonus and allowed us to explore the local countryside."

"A lovely little place to stay. Good points: well furnished; great outdoor space with sun for most of the day, including sunsets; good range of outdoor furniture; great bathroom and shower; comfy bed. Points to improve: a few cobwebs which we got rid of on arrival but would not have expected to have to do so; no microwave - one was listed on the vrbo listing; no separate sink in the food prep area - we had to use the bathroom sink - not ideal. The price we paid for this cabin was very reasonable....

"Our room had a view of the castle, and was pleasantly spacious. The busy road in front, with a narrow pavement, was less ideal. Still well worth the trouble, and it would have been easier had we arrived before dark."

"I have pictures of our disgusting dirty room with spider webs & uneven flooring. Smelly moldy rooms with wet stains on the walls and ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and neither did the TV. There was a tea kettle, but no tea or coffee. This looked nothing like the picture you showed!!! I would like my money refunded. I would not recommend this property to anyone! We slept in our clothes and couldn’t wait to get on the ship to shower and send our clothes to the laundry."
