Surprise along a long drive

Old motel that has been renovated. Very clean, bed super comfortable, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great value.

There were repairs needed to the shower head. There was a hole in the drywall and pipe was hanging out of the wall. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. Someone knocked on doors several doors down very loudly and carried on a loud conversation in the middle of the night. Very noisy place.

Front desk was nice, but language barrier meant that nothing extra could be communicated apart from the bare minimum. The air always smelled like jalapeños and onions etc due to the food they cook in the lobby area, which is fine if you don't have severe allergies to it. Many people live there and people blast music on the road a lot so it is very loud. We planned on staying several weeks but decided to leave after one night because of these reasons.

The staff were helpful, room and bath clean, with microwave and refrigerator for convenience, lots of hot water, and very quiet and efficient air conditioner on a very hot day. Not many restaurant options, but it was a Monday.

It was a quick and inexpensive stay. I would have more to say and have a better evaluation, but I got there after 1 a.m. and only could sleep for 4 1/2 hours and didn't get a chance to fully look nor utilize the room. The best thing was the refrigerator which worked very well including the freezer. Unfortunately the TV service was out and I didn't have time to watch anyhow, but it was a negative for me that I didn't have the option to watch. Internet was good though.

Nice for a quick overnight stay on my roadtrip from Tucson to Sandpoint. Right on 97 it’s your basic motel with a Fridge, some coffee and a microwave. Easy parking and friendly staff. There is a restaurant and store but a tip, bring snack and have a breakfast up the road somewhere or 8:00 the Mexican restaurant serves breakfast.

Right outside room 201 was a diesel truck who started the truck and 5am and let it idle for at least 1/2 hour. Super loud and paper thin walls. Ok so I got an early start to my day. But other than that, nice place to stay for a night
