"We had a very enjoyable 1 week stay at the Converted Church. Perfectly positioned a short drive from Bellingen’s many great dining options in one direction, or the beautiful beaches in the other.The house was very well appointed with a quality kitchen with all the tools you need to cook up a storm. One of the highlights of our stay was sitting down to dinner in the outdoor living/dining area - the view of the gardens, river and rural outlook coupled with the thoughtfully designed lighting created a memorable atmosphere. Jody and Daniel were the best hosts you could hope for. Talked us through all the essentials, shared their advice on local dining and sightseeing and were very welcoming to our children, inviting them to help feed the chooks, and even baked bread together! They operate a great local business, Bellingen Canoe Adventures, from the river on the property - we had a lot of fun on the rapids adventure, Daniel shared some amazing photos he captured of us on the adventure.Bellingen’s a beautiful town and this is the perfect base to explore it or just relax at the house - keen to return."
