Not exactly a five-star hotel, but the service goes way beyond what you normally get at facilities within this price range. The staff are extremely helpful and as someone who is skeptical about trying unfamiliar food, I found the breakfast to be quite good. It probably had a lot to do with how well the restaurant was maintained.

The staff was so accommodating and arranged our transfers to and from the Airport as well. We stayed in the club room which was very spacious really clean and fantastic value for Money. We certainly stay here again if we’re coming back to Beijing.

I stayed at the Park Plaza over the May Day weekend. The hotel is ideally located adjacent the Dengshi Kou subway station, on Line 5, making access to the international airport and both railway stations fairly quick. The National Art Museum, Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City are all within walking distance as are an array of shops, shopping malls and restaurants. The breakfast offering is large and varied starting at 06:30 for those wanting an early start. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and come with complimentary toiletries, bath robes and slippers, as well as a pod coffee machine, kettle, fridge and safe. The hotel also has a free to use laundry room with complimentary detergent.
