"1) wrong address listed. Took me 20 minutes to figure out that the correct address was listed only in the email. Email wasn’t clear that google maps and Apple Maps was wrong.
2) no communication with the property as we were figuring out the address in the dark
3) villa booked wasn’t provided to us as their was no power in the villa which was initially booked
4) no internet provided during our stay.

"The rooms a very unique and they property is beautiful.
We had tiny bats roosting on our villa and it was fabulous to watch them swoop and dive over the river in the evening.
The owner & staff were lovely although my lack of Spanish made communication difficult. There was few maintenance issues, and the room it’s self could do with a little love."

"We loved the atmosphere of the home. The views were spectacular and the grounds are lovely. There were plenty of towels and beach supplies. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host even provided us with eggs and tortillas as we arrived very late and did not have any supplies for dinner. The birds in the early morning were incredible and we also enjoyed watching the capuchin monkey who was stealing the hanging bananas. It was nice not to have to use the AC unit in the lower two bedrooms. Great to have the open air circulating around the rooms. We didn’t spend much time in the pool as we were at the beach and traveling around. Super glad we had a 4x 4 7 seater car. It is a bit of a challenge driving up to the house for the first time in the dark but you get used to the drive after the first time up and down. Highly recommend the rental. The host is knowledgeable and very friendly. "

"It was the best. WE had one issue with hot water, and they immediately moved us to another room. The room was clean and the improvements being done to the property look like it's going to be even better. The staff worked long hours without complaint and were so positive. The property felt secure to the outside world. "
