Book a Doddington Cottage

"Brilliant place, lots to do around the area, lovely village and very friendly people, definitely go back"

"Lovely dog friendly property in a beautiful location with views over to Holy Island. The owner had thoughtfully provided a telescope, which was much appreciated. The house was well equipped, with comfy beds and lounge seating. "

"Beautiful and well-appointed property. We were very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. Lovely details have been added to this renovation. The surrounding land, access to beach, and peacefulness added to the enjoyment of our stay. "

"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! "Lovely, comfortable cottage, beautifully dressed for Christmas. Great responsive and helpful host. We had a wonderful time."

"Nice cosy dog friendly cottage in a great location. Very friendly host. Cottage was very well equipped for a great week's stay"

"Enjoyable stay. Lovely town, everything within walking distance. Private car parking space was good, although a little tight. House was clean and owners to attention to detail was apparent to us. Everything well maintained and tidy. Clean bedding, towels etc. Would return to this house if in Seahouses again."

"We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it. Very close to the rocky shore and not far either direction to sandy beaches.I would not hesitate booking it again."

"Property was lovely and in a gd location"

"Comfortable beds, great linens, all the extras you would expect in a better quality hotel. They even left eggs and bread for breakfast so we wouldn't need to run out on the first evening. I loved the unique decorating touches and gardens. But I needed a step-stool to unlock the patio door and could not find one. Also, please provide explanations for starting the dishwasher and washer - your American guests were not familiar with the brands and did not want to risk abusing them. And the...

"Lovely cottage, super clean and beautifully renovated. We really appreciated the crisps and dog treats :) Parking right outside was handy. Beautiful log burner for a cosy night. Beds were super comfy. My daughter loved the smart-tech in the bathroom showing how much her shower cost. A bit tricky with our 4-legged friends. Stairs too steep for our small dogs, but we barricaded the bottom with our suitcases ok. We were expecting a Deck/Patio as listed but its an open area down some stone steps,...
