"A very traditional look and feeling that is very appealing. Very beautiful area to take pictures. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast place and restaurant. "
"The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. And the dining room serves *amazing* food. The fish we had was some of the very best we’ve had in Iceland. Highly and enthusiastically recommend this hotel. "
"Nice place. A bit on the older side. Breakfast and food, not to my liking. Setup as a shared communal event, which some may like some not. You share a table with random people. Food was average."

"We had a quick overnight stay that was quite comfortable with a beautiful view over the harbor.
The cabin has a separate bedroom - the bathroom isn’t overly cramped which is a nice plus. They provided shampoo.
Check in was easy - just a few doors away at the main hotel & restaurant. "
"I was honestly expecting an extremely rustic little cottage and this definitely wasn’t luxury but it was much prettier and more pleasant than I expected. The grounds are lovely, the horses are nice and easy hikes not in walking distance from the cabin. Cabin has a functional small kitchen with stove and even had cooking oil. Only hand soap available in bathroom but that comes with the territory, not even the nicest places we stayed in Iceland would qualify as luxury by US standards. Restaurant was good too. Recommend for anyone going to this area of the country. "
"This hotel was our favorite. The location was beautiful and the property was charming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and staff super friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!"
"

The beds are very comfortable, and the modern bathroom features intuitive fixtures and easy-to-control water temperature.-thoughtful touches The well-equipped kitchenette includes a refrigerator with freezer. Clear instructions for check in. Wi-Fi is excellent.. highly highly recommend for families. "
"Best ever farm stay and experience. Outstanding staff, food and chef that are well worth the cost. Unexpectedly good dormitory sleeping. Great hot showers are everywhere. Many activities that are well guided and some that are totally sublime that you can do on your own which cost nothing extra. Great Canyonside exploring and waterfalls to chase. Personal transportation to and from the Egilsstadirr airport was a great experience in itself.
Will return because the place is magical."
