Don’t stay at this hotel! My husband and I have bed bugs all over us, when we told the staff they said it was bugs from travelling. Funny enough we didn’t have any bites until the hotel! Breakfast food is trash, absolutely horrible! It is a 2 hours walk from Reykjavik! If you can stay somewhere different do yourself a favor and choose a different hotel!

The unit was great, a little warm, but probably not often a problem. Kitchen was nice, loved the coffee provided, the bed was super comfortable, and the wifi was great. I only had a problem with the bathroom, if the transition at the door can be removed and a thinner mirror put in that would be great.

The location is amazing! So close to everything. And the apartment is large for the price. But we did not have the greatest experience. When we arrived, the oven was dirty, the couch was dirty, the shower smelled awful, and the hot water in the bathroom didn't work. We were able to communicate with the host but we were visited by three different people on 3 different days to fix the shower smell and fix the hot water in the bathroom. Even though they comped us 2 hours extra at check out time (not enough for what we had to deal with TBH), they still turned off our access to the keypad at 10am so we couldn't actually go anywhere between 10am and 12pm. And also know that the bar below plays music from 9am to 9pm which is heard in the apartment.

The hotel looked great and the beds were very comfortable. However, the booking didn't include access to the spa so it costs 6000 isk per person extra if you were expecting to use it. Also, I almost felt the employee was not happy to greet us when we arrived, check out was great though!~

I booked two rooms, one room had no towels, all the sinks had bad oder. Rooms had no heating, it was cold.
