"Aftery a long drive, walking into this oasis was amazing. The owner stayed in contact with me and answered all my questions prior to my stay, but I had no idea how beautiful this home is! We had snacks waiting for us, and after spending hours on the road, they were appreciated more than you can imagine. We felt like we were walking into a 5 star spa and resort. We will definitely be back. Love this place!"

"We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable. The boat is docked in a channel off the main river so not a lot of boat traffic and the currents...

"What an absolute fantastic weekend in Va. My son is a Marine stationed at Fort Greg-Adams. He was given his 96hr leave for the Holiday weekend. We found this gem of a home in rural Va. The home is spacious and very clean. There are amazing amenities. Washer/dryer, front deck, bar-b-que handicap accessible door. Just a great home for a weekend. If you are a history buff it is double the bonus. There are plenty of Civil war trails to explore. Everything about the house and stay is an A++++++++++....

"Get away from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg and stay here! A very seamless and quick (free) car ferry ride across the James to get to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. This place is great for families. There is even a basketball hoops the kids enjoyed! Lots of space to move and very quiet and serene. We tried 2/3 restaurants in town, both good. Neighbors were friendly and lots of charm. Amanda was fabulous to work with during our stay."
