Manjimup
7.6 out of 10, Good, (38 reviews)
"Clean room, appreciated the fact it was double brick with solid walls between rooms. We had a family room, and the metal bunk beds were a little noisy (squeaky) when the kids moved/rolled over. Our room was at the top of the stairs, so loud conversations from the entrance foyer carried up to our room (this continued until 1.30am). The room had a small fridge, a filled water jug and a kettle with tea/coffee facilities, as well as a bar heater to heat the room."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Dingup?
The best area to stay in Dingup is generally the immediate vicinity of the town centre, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the region's natural attractions.

The Dingup town centre itself is small but provides a good base. It's characterised by its rural setting, surrounded by farmland and native bushland. You'll find a few local shops and a pub, providing essential services. The main road through Dingup is the South Western Highway, which connects it to larger towns and attractions.

For couples seeking a quiet retreat, staying just outside the main town centre, perhaps on a property with views of the Blackwood River or a vineyard, is ideal. These locations offer privacy and a chance to enjoy the serene countryside, often with opportunities for walks or simply relaxing amidst nature.

Families travelling with children might prefer accommodation closer to the town's small park or any community facilities. This ensures easy access to open spaces for children to play and keeps you within a short drive of any local eateries or shops you might need.
What are the best family hotels in Dingup?
For a family-friendly accommodation in Dingup, Cherswood Farm is an excellent choice.

This highly-rated property boasts a superb 10.0 review score and offers a wonderful array of amenities designed for families. Children will enjoy the games, toys, books, and the outdoor play area. The accommodation also features a kitchen for convenient meal preparation, along with a porch or lanai, a patio, and a deck or patio for relaxing outdoors.
When is the best time to go to Dingup?
The best time to visit Dingup is during the spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) months.

Spring offers mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it great for outdoor activities like exploring the local vineyards and national parks. The wildflowers are in full bloom during this period, adding a beautiful splash of colour to the landscape. For couples looking for a romantic getaway, the pleasant weather and scenic beauty create an ideal setting for leisurely drives and wine tasting tours.

Autumn also provides agreeable weather, with temperatures similar to spring, usually between 12°C and 23°C. The grape harvest season often occurs in early autumn, which can be an interesting time to visit local wineries and see the production process firsthand.
