"Do you need peace and quiet? Then this is your place! My daughter moved to Newton IA and I wanted to come see her. So, I traveled with my (approved) dogs and the place was exactly what we needed! This place is at the end of the road, a little hard to find if you're not using GPS, but once you are there, you might not want to leave! There is no washer/dryer so plan ahead! Everything else you need is there, and who wants to do laundry when you're trying to relax anyway!? The deck is amazing, the yard is fenced and is a decent size unless you own a greyhound and need a racetrack. The porch. Oh the porch! Rocking chairs of all sizes so you can sit and watch the sunrise (if you get up early) or just view a portion of the lake. *Fishing and kayaking for the adventurous or hungry! The mini-splits are extremely quiet and kept the temperature very comfortable. It's a one bedroom, but the couch is a large sectional so you have additional sleeping areas if needed. This place is great; it's not huge but it has a lot of charm and a welcoming atmosphere. A cozy cottage, just like the owners say; and again, you can bring your (well behaved) pet/s, just please clean up after them. Just make sure to okay your pet/s with the owners first! "Beautiful home! The pictures do not do it justice! And so many friendly accommodations for us- some eggs and milk in the fridge, the air conditioning on upstairs to cool it, little chocolates around. And the backyard was so beautiful! I highly recommend staying here!"
