Was a good stopping point for our trip from Michigan to Colorado. There are a few dining choices to the north of the hotel. We discovered the Pizza Ranch which is about 1 mile to the north. The morning breakfast is always a plus.

My husband and I are truck drivers so we stay at different hotels every night. This was such a great stay. The room was wonderful, we walked in and it was already cold in the room, we didn't have to turn air on to cool it down. The bathroom and shower we super clean and actually had enough towels. The staff were wonderful too.

Staff at desk were helpful when registration computer went down but ended up in room 213 which apparently had a very poorly functioning AC unit. Room was WET with humidity to the point of mold growth on furniture and drapes. Everything felt like it was wet to the touch and it smelled moldy. Staff said having trouble with the unit managing the humidity outside. Very unpleasant sleeping during our one night stay but we were too tired to mess with switching rooms or hotels.

This is my goto hotel when visiting my son at Grinnell. Staff are very pleasant, rooms are clean and large, and the beds are comfortable.
