The staff was very friendly and professional. They attended to my needs in a timely fashion, and they made me feel safe and comfortable. The pictures and description of the hotel were accurate. Upon arrival. There was enough to do within the hotel to keep us occupied during our stay.

Great location, shuttle to airport, excellent service from staff. The downside restaurant randomly closed the night I was there. No ice and no diet soda anywhere. It’s an older place seems to be well maintained and you can’t bet the price for an overnight stay for early morning flight. I’d stay again.

Breakfast was good and the lady prepping the station was very pleasant. The rest of the hotel was dirty. First room we were in the ac was broken and we found a nose ring sitting on the bathroom floor and toilet was dirty. The second room we asked to switch to due to the ac being broken, the floor had sticky stains, the bathroom shower was dirty along with the bathroom mirror. Also the noise from the airplanes everywhere 15 minutes was not expected based on reviews I read. Also was not told about the $50 holding fee per room that has still not yet been returned 4 days later.

Excellent location conveniently close to downtown, but the facilities are not well maintained. Rates can be quite steep during peak seasons, so booking in advance may help. I also had a negative experience when the air conditioning stopped working at midnight. Despite requesting alternative accommodations, no other rooms were available. We asked about other options, but nothing could be arranged. I hope the hotel will honor the credit they promised as compensation for this inconvenience.

The staff at the front desk were all friendly and helpful. The guy driving the shuttle (I forget his name) was especially helpful. Our room was clean and nice. The physical building was a big disappointment. It was once a very nice hotel with a beautiful atrium and outdoor swimming pool, but it has fallen into noticeable neglect and disrepair. Lots of chipped paint and dings in the walls and furniture. Worn carpet, dust, and weeds around the swimming pool. It almost seemed abandoned. It has a lot of potential if they would fix it up and take care of it.

Room was ok but don’t eat at the restaurant. The food was only burgers and fries. Burgers were burned so bad could not eat them. Told me to eat the fries and make new burgers. They did and then carded 74.00 for meal. Ridiculous. Breakfast bar was excellent.

Staff was great and the rooms were clean. The atrium garden was very nice. Ample, safe parking. Good selestion of snacks/drinks at the lobby. My only complaint is that the restaurant on site left a lot to be desired - I would suggest eating off site.

I've stayed here a few times flying into, out of and through Detroit. It's close to the airport and has a 24 hour free shuttle. It's a common place for Delta to send stranded passengers so the shuttle (and check-in) line can get long if you hit it wrong. The atrium area is really nice. I like hanging out there. The free breakfast buffet is among the best I've ever had. The eggs actually tasted like real eggs. They had a great spread of the typical stuff including make your own belgian waffles. The coffee was fine and there was plenty of it. The main downside is the upkeep. Many things in the room and hallways are worn or straight up broken. Usually it's just cosmetic stuff but this past time, the shower didn't work and our toilet was clogged. This is an area of concern for sure. Overall, I'd stay there again if I need a quick night near DTW.

What I liked about the stay there was a in door pool, the restaurant with the bar was ok. They had a bigger restaurant that served breakfast that was very nice. I didn't like the fact that we couldn't take the food upstairs. My friend couldn't walk that much. They should allow disabled people to have their food in the rooms. Also when we got there the room we had at first the floor was very very sticky and the heat wasn't working. They with no problem gave us another room that was better. I wanted to wash some clothes but the laundry room wasn't working as well and it was very far. For the most part everything was ok. We just stayed over night
