Nice hotel. Liked the sitting area outside with electric fire pit. Room suites were very nice and comfortable. Good complimentary breakfast. No complaints,

We lost power on Friday and by Saturday at 3:00 the temperature in our house was 50 degrees and we were freezing. Booked a room at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Detroit-Troy, MI so we could have a warm place to sleep. Check-in was great and the room was fantastic. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my wife received a text message that our power had been restored the second we put our bags down in the room so we immediately went back down to the front desk and checked out without ever using the room. I love Expedia but I guess I should have payed the extra fee for the refundable option.

All interactions with staff were phenomenal all the way through, everyone was happy to help & friendly which is super important to me. The overall look & feel of the building was very nice. My only cons would be a couple minor issues with cleaning in my room, and the tv channels were extremely limited. Breakfast was different than most hotels, but it was good with drink options such as mango water instead of your typical apple & OJ. Overall very nice stay. My friends enjoyed their stay too. I would stay here again as well as recommend it!

At check in was told room wouldn't be ready until 6pm even though check in is at 3pm. Why is room 3 hours late? Did not offer discount for inconvenience, but when asked was able to switch us into room that was ready. Pool is smaller than picture and says heated but was pretty cold, still able to swim. However there was a group of 18 kids that came into Pool without parents and took over entire pool. Running and jumping diving and back flips into pool. I have 2 kids under age 3 and we had to leave before my children got hurt. Told front desk and she went into pool area looked around but didn't say anything to them just said sorry to us.

We had issues with check-in. Our room wasn't ready even though we were 45 minutes after check in time. On our second night there was a party on our floor that was extremely loud. Eventually someone came and had them quiet down. The location is great. The room was very nice and comfortable.

Great value, you get a nice TV and kitchen for the same price as a smaller room in other hotels. Awesome staff. Bit of noise in the room (A/C rattling, doors and people in the hallway). Breakfast could use a vegetable.

It is a good option, minus a few extras
A friends weekend away, but the Hotels.com site shows you can pay for movies, but you can’t. That was an issue for us. Room was spacious and clean, you just have to remember when in suites you might smell cooking from other rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking is ample, room was relatively quiet.

Horrible stay. Hotel was booked up with two children's sports teams. We were there for a nice quiet romantic getaway for our anniversary/Sweetest Day. We could not use the pool or any other amenities. Basically stayed away most of the night and hid in our room the rest of the time. Very noisy with kids running up and down the hall and yelling all over the hotel. Was not at all worth the $200 I paid and I will not be staying there again. The management should have let the other guests know this was going on before it was too late to cancel to see if we still wanted to stay there.
