Absolutely disgusting. Couldn’t even stay the night there. It smelled and felt completely unsafe there was literally numbers held on by masking tape, and a construction site on our floor with debris all down the hallway. Absolutely appalling. The staff was not helpful or kind and frankly rude.

This property feels like a bad police station in an old tv show. Very unprofessional. I walked in, didn’t check in and immediately walked out and went to the Holiday Inn Express. Couldn’t get a refund but I am safe. Do not book this hotel unless armed.

The first room they put me in was clearly not intended for guests. The telephone cords were broken so I was unable to access the front desk. The TV didn’t have a signal. I had to go to the front desk 3 times before he gave me another room. There was also a dirty tissue in front of the love seat. The next room had greasy hand prints on the table and cigarette ashes on the night stand. The dust buildup on the lamps was in acceptable.

If you need 4 walls and a roof they got it. Anything more and you may want to book somewhere else. The breakfast consisted of rock hard bread. The light fixtures in the room has a ton of dust or bugs in them. The pool was closed. The side door was exit only even though there was a slot for a room key to unlock it. (Guessing its broken and they havent fixed it yet.)

Overall stay was comfortable, convenient and inexpensive. Things that werent the greatest - was told i was going to get a king rokm witha jetted tub. There was no jetted tub. I was aactually lookinf forward to using it. - bed was very sunken in the middle. - was told there was a hot breakfast in the am. There was a small assortment of contential items, but nothing warm. They did have warm chafing containers that were empty and not used both days I was there.

The owner if this facility is obviously a penny pincher and doesnt understand the value of reinvesting into the property. The beds had stains, the wall paper was coming off the walls, the door didnt shut unless pushed, the was crap on the walls, their werent any towels available for the pool, the gym was only like 3 pieces of equipment, the incidental hold was $150 vs the $25 I normally pay at Hampton. Do yourself a favor and find a different property to stay at, no amount of savings is worth staying here.

The elevator floor was filthy and there were smears all down the walls. The couch and floor in our room had not been vacuumed in a very long time. The couch and the floor had stains all over. We immediately left and went to a different hotel.

While the hotel was convenient as location off the highway, the desk clerk dressed very unprofessional. Good thing I have a little flashlight on my keyring as the lights didn't work when we got there at dark. I pulled back the covers on the bed and there was hair everywhere, GROSS! My sisters refrigerator had something growing in it in her room. Another lady I talked to said her door wouldn't even lock. Hotel was overall dirty, breakfast was less then mediocre. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Dept of heath needs to visit this place.

Room needed TLC. A lot of small things needed attention and would not turn into big repairs if attended to soon. Bathroom light turned off while I was in the shower. Shower rod pulling off the wall. Torn shower curtain. Knob off sink stopper ( I fixed). Cards for unlicking door ( all 4 of them) did not work well. Your receptionist was really personable

Avoid! Safety issues!
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!! Building is in structural disrepair, rooms are falling apart and the lack of cleanliness is a public health concern. I was the only one in the parking lot when i arrived, seemed sketchy, but I went in. Now i know why. The proprietor also doesn't provide refunds for Any Reason. I feared for my safety and ended up leaving after the first night, and they told me oh well no refund. I've disputed with my charge card provider so they don't get paid, and opened a complaint with the MI Attorney General's office. Please heed my warning, you do not want to choose this property! Not sure how their allowed to operate a hostel with so many in plain sight structural and health violations.
Wonder if that car will still be there in the morning?

I checked in only to prove that I was there and not a no show. I noticed the dead plants and all the dust in the lobby, the front desk staff smell to high heaven. Floors were filthy front door all the way to the room. The key card would not unlock the room door and the door itself was filthy, look as old food was dried on the door. Wall paper peeling in the lobby and hallways. So much dust and dirt on the baseboards you could plant flowers if you wanted.

My family was disappointed with the breakfast. Both days we stayed, we had to ask for food at breakfast. One gentlemen employee came in and said they ran out of food. We were only a couple hours into the breakfast meal hours. The milk was spoiled the first day and a family member got a moldy yogurt. They didn’t have any juice or beverages like most hotels that serve breakfast. Just coffee. We heard A lot of complaints from other hotel guests. Another family member’s ac was loud and and kept them up all night one night and the next night it was ok. There was some kind of food splatter on our hotel wall. But it’s a great location and it’s a nice looking hotel. I thought the bed was comfortable but my husband hated it. So that’s just a personal preference. But the breakfast…disappointing.

In my short 2 hours here i experienced two rooms. One had something red and blood like smeared all over the walls. The second room had white crusty stuff on the couch and tables, the person before myself food still in the fridge. The door was kicked in and did not have a dead bolt nor did the door close properly. Very dirty gross and probably unsafe.

Last minute...never again.
There were quite few of us staying at this location for a Group event nearby. Hotel smelled stale for lack of a better term. Room key was difficult, hit or miss working correctly and the door looked like, prior to our stay, had been attempted to be broken into. Pry marks on the door frame by the lock. Bathroom looked dirty, couch smelled. Breakfast is a 0 compared to other locations we have stayed at. It was dark, no lighting, wasnt sure it was even open yet at ....7:30 am. Coffee very watered down, breads seemed almost stale. Mold on the muffin in package...threw that away.

This is not what I had expected. Room not vacuumed it appeared in weeks and no maid service for out entire 11 day stay, except one day that we asked them to clean the room. They cleaned it a day later. pool not open for most of stay for "maintenance" never saw anyone do anything to the pool. room key died every single day and had to go back to desk for new recharge. AC unit worked but excessively loud. People in adjoining room must live there with 5 kids who were noisy in excess during all daylight hours. Breakfast was over cooked scrambled eggs and the breakfast sausage was empty by 8 am daily. They are very under staffed and do only basic room care when patron checks out to "ready" the room for next visitors. Water pressure was barely enough to shower and sink had a tear trickle to fill a small cup of water to brush teeth. forget washing hands in the sink, use the tub. Never ever would I recommend this as a place to stay.

Staff is super kind and helpful, and I would stay here again, but know that the building shows its age and has been maintained with an emphasis on function over quality. We stayed here for a soccer tournament and had to leave early on Saturday - we had planned on eating breakfast at the hotel, but on weekends breakfast doesn’t open until 7:00.

Do not stay here if looking for “comfort!”
Had to wait for hostess to come back to desk in order to check in. Front desk said to “pick up phone and dial 0 for assistance” but phone had no connection. Room was good size but was ran down and hallway had that old, musty odor. No extra linen in room for the pull out couch so we used the blankets in our car. Deadbolt to door was broken. Was expecting a continental breakfast as advertised but hostess said they only do that “if manager comes in that day.” Our breakfast consisted of honey buns in package, a rotten banana, and coffee. Absolutely no juice options or hot food. We’ve stayed all over the US in Comfort Suites and this definitely was not to their standards! Thank goodness we only needed a quick overnight stay. If looking for “comfort,” we do not recommend staying here!

Property was not kept up. Landscaping appeared to not have been weeded for months. Sliding glass door literally had a film on it. The lobby floor dirty, plants half alive....looked terribly uninviting. 1st room we got did not have a lock on it. Asked for a new room and that too had issues as well as dirty bathroom sink and floor. Conditions were unacceptable and we ask for our money back, but was told it would have to come from Expedia, which turned out to be a lie. Never had an experience like this before. we had to find another hotel to stay in that night.
