Property was dirty along with people occupying the lobby the whole night making loud noises. Food in vending machine expired. Pot holes in parking lot around the area. Tv not functioning properly. No notification that rooms were adjoined, making me feel unsafe and uncomfortable because theirs a door in your room the connects to a complete stranger who could be a murder robber. I’m just a tourists. Shouldn’t security and safety be a concern and priority for all occcupants of any building especially a hotel.

There was nothing nice about this place. We checked in and went to room and left. The room was dirty. Sheets had food underneath the blankets. One bed was half thrown together. There was some pink gooey stuff on the floor as well. The stair wells stunk and the whole place smelt like Marijuana. They wouldn't give us our money back bc of no refund but if the room is nasty that shouldn't hold up.

Pictures are older and don't actively reflect the current property. The only part that looks decent is the lobby. The outside sign is broken. The elevators don't close all the way and don't work very well. The hallways have the carpet torn up and debris everywhere. There are kids running in and out of the hallways, and following you around begging for change. The first room they tried to put me in had no lock on it. Second room, the keys didn’t work and had to get another set. My son pointed out that the ceiling right above the toilet was leaking bad. I went to the desk and he koved me to a room that had a missing eye peep hole. It was stuffed with Kleenex. The outlet near the bed was taped together. The bathroom was dirty, the tub having rusty grease on the inside. The sink was poorly caulked. After seeing that, turned in my room keys and told them I was disputing charges.

While this hotel is conveniently located in Ferndale, it is not the best. The tenants are very loud with yelling and slamming doors all night long. The room was ok, a few stains in the bathroom but the everything else was ok. Pictures are definitely not what it appears.

Crack. Den. They forced us to pay an extra $25 dollar "convenience" fee at check in or they would cancel our reservation. The place had crack heads lining the sidewalk and inner corridors. They put us in the only area with construction, which they were actively doing. We went to bed with carpet in the hallway outside the door, we woke up to none. It felt unsafe at every turn. You get what you pay for.

The elevator didn’t work…it was a strong odor of moth balls in the stairwells…the beds and bathrooms were dirty….the atmosphere was very weird…. Don’t recommend staying at this hotel!!’

Prostitution, drug dealing in the lobby. Dirty rooms including bathrooms and sleeping area not being swept or mopped. Mouse dropping on the floor behind the toilet, hallways stink or trash and marijuana. Front desk staff not helpful when asked for the room to be cleaned or for the tools to do it myself. I had to go buy a mop and broom as well as other cleaning supplies to clean the room the first day I got there.

There was a murder in front of the hotel the day after a woman was chased out of the hotel and murdered next door it’s way to many sketchy ppl in the lobby and hanging around that hotel banned people offering money to still get rooms anyway the people have run this property down elevators smell like piss as well as the stairs. On the other hand the staff was incredibly nice and as accommodating as they could be

Dirty sheets, floors not swept or mopped, only one roll of tissue, very small garbage cans, marijuana smoking in the rooms and can smell it all through the building, rarely any towels, staff not helpful, roaches, only one microwave in the entire building and it's dirty, possible prostitution going on as well as drug dealing, people hanging out in the lobby that isn't renting a room, dirty faded carpet. Parking lot needs fixing as well as the overall exterior of the building

Two night stay
The people we encountered (staff and guests) were friendly and helpful. The rooms were inexpensive, but definitely a get what you pay for type of experience.

The whole place smells like cigarettes, ice machine didnt work, pretty run down and dirty we had cockroaches in our room. Comfortable bed and friendly staff.

I say a few bugs. There was holes in the walls. The room is over priced for the condition of the room. Overall the room was dingy and dirty.

The room was terrible there was no trash can the air suck the bath tub was dirty the toilet seat was broke the bed was very uncomfortable and the sheet was kinda dirty the hotel floors was dirty the ice machine didn't work and also was dirty to where I wouldn't give my dog no ice out of it

No coffee in the lobby, no ice bucket in the bathroom with a leaking ice machine in the hallway. Cockroach in the lobby, Flat bottled soda in the vending machines. Homeless people sleeping in the lobby.

We do not have homeless people sleeping in the lobby and we have a 24 hour front desk, to maintain what is happening. This hotel was odd. It felt really sketchy when you arrive and you have to pay either $100 refundable or non refundable $25 deposit. I wasn’t super impressed with the hotel over all but the staff was always really kind. I thought they did a great job. I don’t know that I’d stay there again but if you’re looking for a budget place to say, this could work for you.

Thank you for your feedback, we are confused, as all hotels require a deposit for incidentals, it is always held with a Credit Card, if that is not available then we do request cash, this is for of someone is smoking in the room or breaks something and you leave the the hotel has no recourse. Don't be misled by the photos.
I decided to give this place a shot because the photos made it look like this quaint little hole in the wall, but it was far from that. The first room we were given had a busted AC unit and no phone. The second room we were given was better, but reeked of cigarettes and the blanket was stained. Thankfully we were only there for a couple of hours, but it was not great. The walls/doors are very thin so you could hear every little thing. The plus side is that the staff was nice enough, and very apologetic when our first room was a bust. So...I guess it had that going for it.
