"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). "We have just returned from a week-long stay in this lovely location. It is situated just around the corner from the harbour and had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. My only criticism would be that it advertised a DVD player (and I had brought along several DVDs which we were looking forward to watching) and, although there was indeed a player, it had the wrong connection for the TV and we were therefore unable to use it. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Thank You."

"We had a wonderful one night stay in Bamburgh at Hillcrest House B&B. The room was spacious and had a lovely view. The potted lobster is only a couple of minutes walk away and very tasty. The castle and beach are easy walking distance too. Good communication from Mark before the stay and cracking breakfast cooked by Malcolm in the morning. Highly recommend. Thank you 😊"
