"Character hotel with a fantastic old style elevator "

"It was a lovely room. Just the right size for our one night stay. We were annoyed that the electric blanket was incredibly hard to find and plug in to use. I broke my permanent bracelet trying to lift the whole mattress to get to the plug on both beds. The heater has 3 different places to make sure it is on (overkill), had to call the desk to get it working. Positives: it is a lovely old hotel with a quirky room system. A few stairs to conquer but also a small elevator. It is very central to everything. A lovely walk up amd down the road to find quaint shops and wonderful old buildings. The people were nice and the cleaning lady was especially perky in the morning. Everyone seemed.to be happy to work there. "

"This hotel was SO cool!! The old building had been transformed in to such a unique hotel. Undoubtedly the most unique place my wife and I have ever stayed!! Recommend it highly!!"

"Very clean, comfy bed, lovely warm unit, 7min walk to the hospital. Perfect wee kitchenette that had everything i needed to prepare my meals. My only gripe would be the lack of secure window ventilation latches. I love to air out my room securely whilst im out. Easy fix tho. I will definitely be back "

"Very well maintained and presented property, ours was a modern large spacious room. Good location. Nothing at all to fault which in itself is often rare these days. Would return without hesitation."
