Helpful manager and neat clean accommodation - enjoyable stay.

We were made to feel most welcome from Kit and his family. An enjoyable farm tour and tne opportunity to hold near newborn Alpaca and up close to the other animals. We had access to all areas of the farm at anytime which we used for morning and evening strolls. Chickens roamed the gardens which gave a real country experience. The place was very reasonably priced with off-street parking. When I made the booking i had requested a room with 2 separate beds (as I was sharing with a platonic friend). When we arrived, the room that was allocated to us only had one large bed - they had not seen my request. However, they were quick to solve the dilemma and even asked a couple to switch rooms with us so that we could get their room which had 2 separate beds. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The owners were warm, fun and wonderful!! They gave us great recommendations to tour Christchurch. We would have loved to stay longer!!

Great little motor park camp. Excellent location by beach far enough away from Chch but still close. A bit old school with lots of messy permanents - but otherwise a good spot. Caravan and huts are cute; clean and good value. I’d recommend it.

Communication was great, they texted me which room to go to as we arrived after hours. We were greeted to a nice warm room as it was freezing outside!

We stayed at Governors Bay so that we could be close to Christchurch, but not "in" Christchurch. Views from the hotel of the harbour were beautiful, Room was nice. Very quiet, minimal traffic. Would stay again, but next time we will choose a balcony room. Also, all rooms share toilet and shower Facilities

The staff at this motel went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. . Units are spacious and clean, warm and cosy.

Friendly welcome even though we arrived late; about 7pm. Room was tidy, warm and full kitchen facilities were perfect. Close to New World to buy groceries for our 3 nights. Cleaners were lovely as well. As they are pet friendly, i will be bringing my dog next time.
