Great location for exploring the area by car.

Meteora is an incredible place, and far more special if you can get out early and beat the tour groups, or leave it till late in the afternoon. Elena is a good choice. Sizeable rooms, balcony on the better rooms with wonderful views of nearby hills. Bathrooms are a little damp in feel and bath showers are always a little less practical than standard showers, but all is in good condition. Definitely worth the stay. Breakfast is an optional extra worth doing.

This is a first class hotel, way, way up in the mountains it was first class value. We stayed for 2 nights midway through our 25 day road trip around Greece and wanting to see the mountains oh my we saw them. We were met with a complimentary drink and then taken to our room. It was large with a king size bed, the bathroom was large with complimentary shampoo , conditioner, shower gels, soap, and body lotion. We drove to meteora also through the mountains. Do take the time to stop at a high...

This hotel is the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in many hotels in Greece. It is a long way into the mountains but well worth the travel. The room was exceptional, the staff were exceptional, the area is exceptional. We stayed 1 night and wished we had stayed more. The mountains were awesome so large and different with each hour of each day. We are not skiers or white rafters but just to walk in the area would have been great. Whilst we were there there was an overnight storm, the...

Wunderful staff

Love how everything was close by.

We loved out stay at the Metropolis Hotel - we will definitely recommend to family and friends. Staff couldn't be more helpful, awesome location. Loved the family run atmosphere!

the staff are excellent- very friendly and attentive - one particular staff member Anthi went out of her way to ensure we had almond milk during our stay as we couldnt drink regular milk.

Great place

Best hotel in Ioaninna. Enjoyed the magnificent grounds with pool area, plentiful breakfast and the best mattresses with the softest pillows. Second time here and would recommend it without hesitation.

Our stay began when we arrived at 2am due to delayed flights. From the moment we stepped foot on the property until the minute we left we were treated with such warmth and hospitality. The team went out of their way to assist us with every need. The hotel is in an easy to access location with a 6 euro taxi ride in to town. The pool area was a lovely setting for breakfast and afternoon drinks. As a family of four, we had connecting rooms that were spotless and comfortable. All in all a great...

Good hotel a little dated but good overall, Parking is an issue as it’s off site and confusing to get in. Also hotel is hard to access with car.
