"Enjoyed the stay but there are some issues: Staircase leading to apartment is treacherous including unevenly spaced stair rises. Courtyard by front door does not drain rainwater sufficiently during downpour resulting in one having to cross 2" deep moat to access the apartment. I would expect to stay there again hoping they would address these issues. Excellent location on Black river well lit at night though it would be advantageous to turn off the outside lights at night. "The house has been recently renovated and is roomy and well-appointed. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We decided to add time to our stay, and the owner revised our second reservation to avoid us being charged a cleaning fee again. This was something the owner caught and took care of voluntarily. "This is a darling home and comfortable to stay at. There were 6 of us and we stayed for 14 days. The hosts' has the house set up with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. "7 women on a weekend getaway and the house fit the bill. The house is nice and the location is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. The sauna was a neat amenity. Kayaks and fire pit were also great additions. They had a gas grill but we didn’t use it. Close to Clayton and Sackets Harbor, both cute villages with things to see and do."
