"This was a complete waste of money and time.1 they had no staff other than the manager and a so called cook The rooms were not clean the smoke alarms did not work and the door locks wouldn’t lock. The beds were grubby and needed changing no clean sheets the food served was not up to standard the manager said he had lost his staff before we arrived they all took Christmas holidays entertainment was a pool table we had to rely on trips to the main Santa Claus village on a 140 kilometre round trip...

I often expect when booking through a hotel and upgrading the room that you still get to access hotel facilities and have basics in room like tea and coffee. Amazing views, clean and comfortable. "Loved this beautiful cabin, one of the nicest places I've stayed. Had all amenities you could ask for and more, plus a sauna. Cosy decor and loved the fireplace and the balcony overlooking the lake. Cabin was very clean and great location close to the centre of Akaslompolo. Hope I can stay here again some time."

"Marikki, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly, a real 'people person'. We were slightly concerned that we were a little way from the village to go out to eat in the evening but this was not a problem. The hotel meals were so good there was no need to go out - very tasty and with a traditional theme. The local taxis are also quick and efficient. This was a very comfortable place to stay where the hosts made every effort to ensure you have a good time. It is right next to a ski track so easy...

"From start to finish Linda has been fantastic answering all questions we had even down to recommendations for trips and restaurants… cabin is amazing the pictures don’t do it justice.. couldn’t have asked for a better location 10 min walk one way to the shops and frozen lake 2 mins walk the other way to a fantastic woodland walk .. seen the lights 3 times in 7 days, temp was around -23 most days so lovely to come back to a warm cosy cabin and use the sauna. "Start with the positives: the breakfast was good and the room nicely sized. Neutral: The toilet/shover was outdated. Negative: I was very disappointed because I had asked about EV charging before through Facebook. They neglected to mention in their response that they charge a 10€ flat fee. The property has schuko sockets available so there’s no way to charge 10€ worth in one night. I would have been ok to pay a reasonable price per kWh."

"Das Objekt selbst ist in guter Lage, leider nachts etwas laut. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und doch bedarf es an manchen Stellen schon Erneuerungen. Im Großen und Ganzen war das Appartement sauber, jedoch fehlt es in einigen Detailbereichen an einer gezielteren Reinigung. Was uns am meisten gestört hat, dass wir erst nach der fixen Buchung erfahren haben, dass im Appartement Kameras installiert sind, anscheinend für den Brandschutz. So etwas geht für mich aber gar nicht. Ich will keinerlei...
