I was in Fiji for business (6 weeks) and stayed at 7 hotels as I moved Nadi - Suva and back. The holiday Inn was the stand out. I have stayed there before, but this time was almost faultless. The hotel was fully booked, but I was still welcomed and made to feel like my booking mattered. Lovely room that opened up onto grassed area leading onto the beautiful Lami Bay The bed was sooo comfortable, the staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble, and we felt like good friends on our departure as they took an interest in us and knew us without any prompting. Good business centre with free computers to use, room service great, buffet breakfast great, meals at the bar great. I cannot fault this accommodation.

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived on the island to when we departed. The staff are genuinely friendly, the food amazing and you can't help but unwind and relax in such a peaceful environment. There is no pressure to partake in activities, you can do as little or as much as you want to. This hotel is great - central location, friendly staff and good rooms. We have stayed here a number of times and it would be my first choice whenever we need accomodation in Suva. The pool is great - especially if you have kids, and the bar/restaurant serves great meals at a good price.

Wow this hotel was excellent value for the money. Clean room and nice breakfast.

Always enjoy staying at Peninsula. Lovely bed, friendly staff. Always willing to help. Didn't like, bathroom door was not lockable, window was leaking during heavy rain, would flood the room floor and making it unsafe. The shower was so slow and limited hot water.

Closeness to services

My room was large with a very comfortable bed and a personal ensuite bathroom. The swimming pool was wonderful clean and very refreshing after a long walk in the heat. The free breakfast was beyond excellent for a continental breakfast including boiled eggs and baked beans and ham on top of the usual continental breakfast items. All this for a great price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
