"Such a perfect spot to escape July 4th weekend fireworks. We have a very nervous dog when it comes to all the fireworks in the city. This place is perfect! The serenity of watching the swans with their cygnets as you sip your morning coffee is amazing. The place is cozy but has all the basics you need."

"My parents, my husband, son and I stayed at this farmhouse for two nights while we explored the area around Kensington where my parents grew up in the 1930's. The location is super beautiful and peaceful. We loved watching the birds feed, the deer, and all of the flowers and trees. The quiet was spectacular. We also saw sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans and other wildlife. The house was so clean and had everything we could want. The kitchen was so well stocked with dishes and other amenities....

"We were visiting the U of M Morris and stayed here. Beautiful home, very clean, plenty of space - in and out - for a family. Fabulous having some of the basic amenities (coffee, shampoo, etc.) Peaceful and relaxing stay. We look forward to staying again in the future. Fellow UMM friends, it's only 15 min from town. "

"The only two good things about this place were the location in Starbuck and the swimming pool. The swimming pool was nice, heated and clean. Unfortunately that was the only positive part of our stay. When we arrived we noticed large stains on the carpet in the entryway, a mop and a vacuum cleaner. Later we found snack chips in bowls downstairs in the children's play area. The stairs to the downstairs area were slick (the carpet was very worn), and I slipped once and my grandson slipped twice,...

"We enjoyed our stay! Dave and Steph are so nice to work with. The home was spotless, tastefully decorated, comfy beds/bedding, and like new linens. Kitchen is well-appointed and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for local festivities, and just a short walk to a restuarant, liquor store, and fabulous beach on Lake Minnewaska. Highly recommend staying here."
