The lodge is spectacular, and warm, inviting and comfortable. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the service unassuming and attentive. Staff will help with suggestions, and arranging any trips and activities you may want to do. Alternatively it is the perfect location to do very little. I would highly recommend the Carrick Lodge. Icouldnt have asked for a more relaxed, quiet and peaceful 3 nights. So very clean and tidy

We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and made to feel at home immediately. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. There was an extensive variety of mouth watering options for breakfast. Overall we had a wonderful weekend an our hosts were awesome.

This is the second time I've stayed here. The rooms are a great size and there's ample room to spread out. We stayed a bit longer this time and made use of the (free!) laundry facilities. The staff are just delightful - the women at the front desk and the women making up the rooms were really helpful and accommodating, lovely with my daughter.

Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again

If you are thinking about going to Te Anau, this place is a MUST! The rooms were beautiful, super clean, cosy and private. The host here are friendly, helpful and cook a great breakfast. There is no where else that I would book in this area.

Great location right on the waters the cabins were very clean. It is an additional charge to use the spa and it needs to be booked (might be useful if they tell you this information when you check in). Would recommend

Great hotel and staff, the only problem is that i booked with Expedia and they cancelled my reservation by mistake!! Fortunately the hotel got me sorted and their service is exceptional!!!! Thanks guys

Great hotel and so central to town. Very friendly and helpful staff No lift but the staff had a lift for the luggage to get to the second floor. Advertised as sitting area in room. When we got there the 2 chairs and table were shoved up against the window. Took me a while to realise when moved it actually was a sitting area and quite good. All in all a nice place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was a problem. A lot of thought was put into making it a real home away from home.

Only down side is that i didnt stay longer! A very cute little cottage with everything you need. Good heating, a very warm and comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and a lovely little deck outside your room and access to a private outdoor bath. This is very close to Roxburgh and Ettrick traven is just up the road. I would love to come back and stay here again. There is no staff on site and i had to go to the cafe next door to ask about how to access my room. The ladies in the cafe said...
