"The staff were great from check in to check out. The location is ideal for walking everywhere, and they have large parking areas. The indoor pool is a nice touch to have when it’s late and you want to get out of your room. I forgot my adapters for my charging cable and they had them. The balcony’s in the room also smoking allowed. They also have a toy area for children which my daughter enjoyed. The restaurant is nice too, and the wait staff are very kind. Overall I will stay here again when I visit the Black Forest. "

"For the price you pay, it’s not bad. The decor may need an update, but the pictures online are true to form. My only real gripe was the plastic mattress protector on the obviously new mattress- you’ll wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, I still give my overall experience 5 stars because of the hotel’s staff. They went above and beyond to help me from restaurant reservations, what points of interest to see, and even printed several documents I needed for me. At the end of the day, a hotel is really just a fungible service - a bed to sleep in. The difference is service. I would definitely recommend. "

"I stumbled upon Sombea during a trip through Southern Germany, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The staff is helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant is delicious. If I find that my travels take be back to the Schwarzwald, I will be staying at Sombea again."

"Beautiful, modern apartment in very central location in a small, spa-oriented town. Great kitchen. Public parking several blocks away. Check in at hotel some distance away. Multiple restaurants, coffee shops, bakery nearby."

"Very reasonable cost provided a comfortable stay with a feel of Germany of many decades ago, but with modern conveniences. Breakfast was wonderful and the evening meal we enjoyed there was even better."

"Great relaxing stay at Braelingen with my family. Although the property doesn't have a hot tub, the nearby (suprisingly warm) lakes makes up for it. The house has a few things to keep the kids and adults entertained after a day of exploring the local area."
