"We really enjoyed our three nights staying for the first time as this small property on the beach. Hotel management & staff we interacted with were very friendly & helpful, responding quickly to any needs or questions. Although the rooms are basic, amenity wise, ours was quiet, comfortable & clean. We were surprised that the room had a mini fridge, so that was a plus for keeping snacks & bevs on hand. Also, centrally located on A1A, so very convenient for exploring the beaches & parks in the area. About ten minutes from downtown Fernandina Beach, with its nice restaurants, shops & bars. We came for a concert at the recently opened Tigre Island Room, a really nice live music venue downtown on 2nd St. We loved the budget friendly price! I expect to stay again, next time we come to beautiful Amelia Island, hopefully very soon. "

"All the Staff was excellent… from calling me before checking in to checking in. My husband and I stayed there last year. We had a great time! Our balcony room was amazing too then! Brought my 4 friends for a two night visit! We all had separate rooms!! My balcony room was awesome! 👏 My friends loved their rooms too. Breakfast was great and all was wonderful! "Room was spacious, cool decor and in the middle of town. Easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. The innkeeper was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was basic but that's not what we came for. It is the one of the oldest hotels in Florida so it has a ton of character. "
