"This is a hotel of opposites. Great location in stone town but down a dark alley you can’t quite drive to the door. Helpful reception but we’d booked 3 rooms and they initially gave us 2. Lovely clean spacious rooms but others with no view or very noisy. Wonderful old character but random electrical sockets - could only have the (empty) fridge OR the kettle OR the light plugged in. "The resort was very clean and well maintained, there was a peacefulness which you would not get in the more busier resorts. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Only thing I would say is that the dinner service was quite slow, however food was quite good."
