Cheap Hotels in Minuwangoda from NZ$31

This was by far the most beautiful hotel of our stay in Sri Lanka. The room, breakfast, pool and staff were absolutely first class. It is a very new hotel and the staff are proud of it and extremely accommodating and helpful. We also had dinner one of the evenings and it was the best curry we had in the country (and we had a lot!)

The husband and wife owners went out of their way to look after us as soon as we arrived. They drove us places, cooked us a lovely breakfast and gave us alot of great advice when we first arrived in Sri Lanka. The hotel is very clean, modern and welcoming. A great place to stay.

Convenient location, great amenities, very helpful staff. Airport transfer was easy to organise, highly recommend.

It’s a basic, budget hotel. But everything was clean, and the staff were great. There are several friendly cats (and a dog) that live on the property, and I enjoyed interacting with them.

Staff are very helpful. Easy for night or two / close to airport and town. Reasonable price. Nice breakfast and great stop over before heading to other parts of Sri Lanka. Certainly don’t need more than 1 full day in Negombo. Recommend

The room was large and clean. No breakfast provided but there was an eating place next door and a shuttle car provided free. For one night no issues.

Great place for a solo traveller.

Really nice wing of excellent rooms behind a residence. Garden. Quiet area. Nothing but small shops nearby, but not far from the main Negombo strip by rukruk. Extremly friendly and helpful owners.

Upon arriving to International Airport on a very busy Sunday morning after an extended layover in KL, when I arrived into the villa I was immediately met with all 60 kg of luggage with the friendly Mahindra. From the word ’go’, mama Mahindra allowed me to reset in the pool and share the villa story. I was provided with insight into local currency costs for honest prices over a small dinner. The room was called well to a temperature that I could begin to acclimatise, and the following morning...

Great find. A little out of the way so you are a little reliant on them in terms of food… however the food is wonderful and so that was a plus. Great team, good value and good values in terms of how the owners treat their employees
