"Ngedere Lodge is nicely situated in Mto wa mbu as an ideal base for Safari game drives to Manyara Lake, Ngorongoro Crater and even the Serengeti National Parks. I had the half board package. Erick cooked great food with a range of pancakes, omlettes, sausages for breakfast and the loads of options on the evening. Numerous local dishes, like Ogali and international greats including pizza and chips, burgers, etc. The rooms were clean with warm showers - great for familes and solo travellers. ...

"Hotel only opened 2 years ago and has a lot of potential . However , it's still lacking in details. 1) the path to getvto the hotel is rough and hard to navigate , 2) the reservation system is not up to scrap and need modernisation , 3) the built suffered in storm , 4) out driver didn't revive a lunch box where we got one from every other lodge . The hotel can be great with small adjustment and attention to details "

"This is a challenging review to write. The property is lovely and the staff was kind-though limited in their ability to resolve the issues. If you are looking for secluded, beautiful and restful, this could be the place for you. However it is located far from any town and further from many of the sites we chose to visit. "We had a fantastic stay at Tarangire Greenland Resort, in the heart of Tarangire National Park. Our cabin was very comfortable and the staff was super accommodating, making arrangements for game drives and serving great breakfasts and dinners. My only complaint was that it was not as well sign-posted as some other lodgings within the park. Tarangire NP itself is amazing. It is deservedly touted for its baobabs and large families of elephants, but there is so much more, and it is far less crowded...

"They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great."
