Poor entrance road, without signs, but the place was beautifully constructed with old huge wooden beams in the dining area, good food, beautiful grounds, nice pool and helpful friendly staff

This is a lovely property that is more than adequate for a short stay. The grounds are beautiful, the views spectacular and the rooms are comfortable.
It had essentially two issues that would stop me from returning. The first is that the meals were not great. Most of the food is provided in chafing dishes and that just doesn’t lend itself to quality eats. It wasn’t that crowded so I didn’t even understand why at least main courses couldn’t be cooked to order.
The second was a total lack of detailed attention to room conveniences. The Internet in the whole hotel was very weak-even to the extent that hotel staff had to step outside to process a credit card. In this day and age there is no excuse for Internet that weak-it just isn’t that costly to provide good internet at least in common areas let alone in individual rooms.
There were also too few plugs for charging devices and very slow hot water. These things are all fairly easy to resolve if someone just cared to do so.
I would consider returning to this location if some of these items were addressed.
