"El hotel está en la zona sur de Mandalay ,a poco más de media hora del aeropuerto. Yo lo reserve pensando que estaba más cerca. El hotel está en una zona que hay una autovía con mucho tráfico y un par de restaurantes. Me dieron una habitación sin ventana, nunca lo había visto, y cuando entre a la ducha no funcionaba. Al poco de llamar a recepción subió un empleado a reparar. Durante la noche hubo bastante ruido por los pasillos. En resumen, yo no volveré jamás."

The building is in desparate need of attention, but i guess with little to no tourists visitng the country, it makes it dificult to invest in repairs and updates. The staff are great. En revanche, nous avons été extrêmement déçus par le restaurant de l'hôtel. Fatigués après une grosse journée de visites de Mandalay, nous avons choisi de dîner à l'hôtel. "The Waiting Lodge is a newer hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin. It is associated with a fantastic restaurant, a home movie theatre, and a full gym. The breakfast is delicious with many options both nationals and foreigners enjoy. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is so kind and quick to help us with anything we need. The general manager is very gracious and came and greeted us himself. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing visit in Pyin Oo Lwin. "

"The view and rooms were great. Especially the executive suite. However, there was no buffet system for breakfast and on top of that, we could only choose one meal per person for breakfast. No wifi in the rooms. No water in the toilet in the morning we left the hotel."
