"It is like staying in a museum, in a good way. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The location opposite the beach, ignoring the flyover and the road, was great. Restaurant serves alcohol and bar area is attractive. Really quaint. Swimming pool looked dirty when we arrived but was immaculate by the next morning."

"This wonderful historic house will give you a feel for Kochi's history and is a treat to stay in. The food at Koder House is fabulous, and incredibly reasonably priced. Staff is amazing, attentive and goes way out of their way to be helpful. You can expect, and will get, the kind of help that is not easily forthcoming at hip hotels nearby. Rooms are quiet, the ac and hot water are reliable, and the building is charming. Only drawback is finicky wifi, but that's not atypical in Fort Kochi. Koder...

" Very clean rooms. Excellent view and superb food. Excellent concierge Mr. Satish helped arrange local sightseeing and Temple visit went smoothly with no hassles. Clean quality restaurants and food and nice private beach. Valey Gayatri saw us off very comfortably on the last day. "
