"It is hard to describe just how truly excellent this hotel and its staff were. From the moment of stepping off the air conditioned boat after a 45 minute ride from Male, you experience a beautiful luxury island and warm and informative welcome from the staff. Daily newsletter provided via WhatApp with news of the day and things to do, our host helpfully pre-booked restaurants and excursions for us and was then able to change to match our preferences. Nothing was too much trouble. We sampled every restaurant, the food was superb in all, particularly worth visiting and experiencing was Kaage which provided truly excellent traditional Maldivian food. Across the board the staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful we were treated like royalty and made to feel really special, it seems unfair to name individuals as everyone was so kind and helpful, but of particular note look out for Ritika, Christine, Manoi, Heni, Antarika and Rahul. The boat trips, snorkelling and scuba diving were all fantastic, do the sunset fishing trip it is well worth it. The reefs around the island are a little sparse so well worth doing the included snorkelling trips. This island sets the standard, we had a fantastic week and will certainly go back. Thank you Varu"

"A hidden gem! We have just got back from a fabulous 7 days in paradise. The island is immaculate and feels very safe with security patrolling the grounds consistently throughout the day. Would recommend gold AI as can be expensive otherwise. Very quiet and peaceful island. Staff very friendly and work extremely hard to make sure you have a memorable stay. Shout outs to Ya Ya, Simon, Mama, Daneesh and Sharif so many to thank. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! If you visit check out the reef and feeding time with the baby black tip sharks. Looking forward to our next visit. "

"Lovely hotel with fantastic service. We were picked up from the airport and immediately the service was brilliant. The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating and really did offer a 5* service. The room was nice, albeit a little compact. The view was great. The shower was one of the nicest showers I’ve ever seen! The design and aesthetic of the property is great. The bed is very comfortable and we had a fantastic sleep. The hotel is close to the mosque, and the call to prayer is early, but this is part of the experience and ear plugs are provided if required. We left before breakfast, so they boxed one up for us, which was very kind. Fantastic stay, amazing service, highly recommend to anyone staying in Malé"
