"This place was OK. I would like to see improvements in staff training to make other peoples stays more pleasant. Staff was not aware of our Expedia reservations and were pretty confident the hotel did not have such arrangement. Staff was also not able to produce receipts for room payments and that immediately caused issues. There does not appear to be any record keeping of these transactions. "Novotel in Constantine was generally very clean with very helpful staff. The one thing that bothered us the most is that the sink drains did not seem to employ a P-Trap and let sewer smells come in through the drain. The experience of using the sink (washing faces, brushing teeth etc..) was quite unpleasant."

Basic hotel but lack of other options

"Room was a bit small for a four night stay. Shower and sink both leaked. Poor communication with reception. Ordered a taxi to take us to a specific restaurant but reception told the taxi driver another restaurant. This caused us problems with the driver and ended up costing us more than planned. Reception told us we could book a taxi to Djemila but failed to tell us that we needed to apply for permission in advance. Positives were the amazing view from the back of the hotel, the comfy bed and the central location "
