Not your usual Ibis

Location excellent. This hotel in comparison to expected standard, is lower than usual. The reason for slow check-in explained as all passport details need to be entered for Police requirements. Staff helpful band breakfast next door at Novotel buffet ( Danes building ) Short 1/2 nights ok but in I. Algeria things such as safes . Internet not reliable.

Best hotel choise in Constanta centre ville

Hotel location couldn’t be better: in city heart and anything worth seeing in walking distance! Cosy and clean rooms, excellent bathroom facilities (in Algerian standards), good beds. Laundry service a bit slow but faster than in other laundries outside hotel (service time: week!) Restaurant street in 3 min walking dist. Safe environment, nice market place just beside hotel, many sunny street cafes to choose. Only minus comes from lacking minibar.

Actually ended up staying the Novotel next door, the properties are adjoining. Excellent value for money and an ideal base to explore Constantine and its many bridges. Handy to all the ammenities you require.

The price is decent and the security of the location is good. Ibis is a reliable chain of hotels, however this location, due to the culture of smoking, smelled in the hallways and into the room. I don't think that a hotel chain could enforce a positive change on a culture, however, having that smell in one's business does affect the opinions of the public.

The hotel very well placed in excellent area everything by walking distance. Unfortunately, the hotel needs to be renovated poor management. Even the Neigbord hotel Novotel same thing.

Typical Ibis....clean, comfortable, nice view from room and with no frills. Great location, 1km walking distance to Pont Sidi M'Sid. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant, which is also typical with Ibis, very overpriced. Overall, I would stay here again if i return to Constantine.

Basic hotel but lack of other options

Room was a bit small for a four night stay. Shower and sink both leaked. Poor communication with reception. Ordered a taxi to take us to a specific restaurant but reception told the taxi driver another restaurant. This caused us problems with the driver and ended up costing us more than planned. Reception told us we could book a taxi to Djemila but failed to tell us that we needed to apply for permission in advance. Positives were the amazing view from the back of the hotel, the comfy bed and the central location

The worst I’ve ever seen. When I entered the room there was no phone , no hand soap no shampoo no conditioner. The towels are so dirty , the room was awful. On the top of that, they charge me extra when I checked out even though I paid using Expedia . They told me it a government tax. I will never go back to this hotel . Impossible 👎👎👎

Disappointing stay

Had a great start when the receptionist leant me money to pay for the taxi. Sadly, after this, it went downhill. I was asked if I wanted city or mountain view. I asked for mountain but was given city. The room was tired and smelt of smoke. The curtains were paper thin so the room stayed light at night. The bar was closed. The restaurant closed. Breakfast was quite expensive and consisted of cold eggs, some breads, hard toast and cereal. Breakfast opens late on Friday's so was no use with an early flight. When it came to checking out, no staff are working until 7am so it was another hassle, eventually being told to go next door to check out. To top it all off, I got home and found an £86 charge on my card. I contacted Hotels.com who tried to call the hotel but kept getting cut off so I now have to chase this up with my bank.

Chambre acceptable malgré le plancher disjoint par endroits, la paroi de la douche laisse passer l'eau dans la salle de bain lasalle de bain est pleine d'eau. Au petit déjeuner le sol de la salle est sale les plateaux ne sont pas lavés juste recouverts de set en papier. Les 2 machines à café ne fonctionnent pas le premier jour, le deuxième une seule fonctionne, le plateau sucre n'est pas présent sur toutes les tables. Dommage car la ville est belle et à visiter

Struttura vecchia e mal tenuta, molto cupa. Camera classiche Ibis style ma doccia in pessime condizioni e letti scomodi. Internet non funziona e la colazione a pagamento ha un buffet decisamente ridotto.
