"Our stay was a relaxing getaway. A natural, beautiful setting. The only thing that surprised us was that the 'rooms' were in reality individual cabins. It was a refreshing element. Getting away from technology for periods in the day was much needed. The lodge was beautiful inside and out and the prices at the restaurant were surprisingly reasonable."

"Spacious and beautiful. We had plenty of room to play, eat, and sleep. Lots of board games and a couple of puzzles. I took my five children and had plenty of space for everyone to have their own area to play. My 12 year old absolutely loved the nook and took it as his own. They loved all of the peekaboo doors as well. I loved how easy it was to find everything I needed to cook our meals. During our stay we went to Mammoth Cave and Lost River Cave. But, if you plan a trip to the Lost River Cave definitely call ahead to make sure they are doing the boat tours that day before leaving. (We left our house super early in the morning the day of check-in) and tried to go to the Lost River Cave for a boat tour but it was flooded from the rain the night before. We did however make it there the day we checked out."
