Cheap Hotels in Gondokusuman from NZ$9

The hotel is located close to the airport and not too far from amenities such as train station, shopping and etc. I had reserved three nights for a very reasonable price per night, and really enjoyed my stay here. I found all the amenities that tourists might need, in particular the Wifi speed at the room was great. Hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. All in all a great value for money.

The room was spacious, but under furnished, could have done with another chair. Kept running out of toilet paper, and AC kept running strange preprogrammed modes that made us too cold at night. The outside waterfall was also a little loud. The breakfast were not great. The staff were helpful, and the same day turn around for laundry was great!

The charming Art Deco style hotel is centrally located in Yogyakarta. On Friday night, we walked about 5 minutes to Taman Pintar which is usually a theme park but became a night market full of food stalls with all kinds of delicious street food! Friendly staff, clean and modern facilities and the best night sleep we had during our whole time in Indonesia! This was a fantastic hotel and I couldn't find anything to fault if I wanted to. 'Western' standard facilities and a decent sized room and the staff really went above and beyond (we were extremely sick at night when we arrived and weren't able to make the free breakfast so they brought food up to our room).

It was a well-run hotel but the building and rooms are basic and a bit run down. + Staff were very friendly and helpful + Breakfast (many local buffet and omelettes) very nice - Dry hotel with no alcohol - No fridges in rooms - “Deluxe rooms” without windows - Light switches and electricity switch broken
