The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. There was a large selection of foods for breakfast each morning. The rooftop bar was a great place to relax in the evening with entertainment provided most nights. The pool area looked very inviting but it was a bit too cold to take a swim at the time of year we went. The hotel is situated between Portimao and Praia da Rocha and to explore around the area you need good fitness levels for walking or a car to explore further afield...
