"Mdluli is a lovely property right inside the Numbi gate of the park. The tents are large and comfortable, with new furnishings and well designed. The facilities are lovely--a nice bar/restaurant, great pool, and access to game drives are great. The staff is pleasant and hard working, always with smiles and kind words. Food was high quality and lots of variety. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely consider Mdluli for a longer stay at the park. Highly recommend. "

"We arrived just as it was about to start raining. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lunch in the River Cafe was quick and delicious and then we went for our Spa treatment. The heavens opened just as our treatment began, and it was so relaxing hearing the rain drop down on the canvas while we were having one of our best treatments ever. "When we arrived we had food in the sister lodge next door 2 mins walk away but it was stunning. Braai buffet style. Then had dinner and breakfast as Muluwa on our last night as it was reopened with new management. Absolutely perfect. Cannot fault it. We paid for a couple of the excursions. "Overall a very average stay and really not worth the cost. Our room was in desperate need of maintenance. There was terrible dampness and damage to the bathroom cupboards, all the cupboards in the room had not been cleaned which was v unpleasant and the aircon also had issues. Also we were told that breakfast was served at 8am however we were only managing to get breakfast at around 8.40 as staff had not arrived yet and the restaurant wasnt even open yet. We ended up missing our quad biking...

"The accommodations were very nice. Unfortunately there were daily electricity outages. The resort made no effort for guests to be cared for during outages, which happened three times a day for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. Everything is electric. Foreigners are not accustomed to these problems and are stranded in the dark with no resources. The resort needs to find a way to care for their guests during outages."
