Bel Hotel dans un cadre luxueux. Bel accueil Très belle vue sur la vallée. Notre chambre était propre,grande,avec frigidaire et grand balcon. grande salle de bain avec chauffe-serviette. Beaux jardins avec piscine et spa. Nous avons souper au restaurant de l'hotel. Nous avons très bien mangé. Le repas était excellent. Le serveur et le chef ont fait du bon travail. Même chose pour le petit-dejeuner qui est excellent.

Relaxing retreat.

From the highway we had a 10 minute drive on a dirt road which was maintained and accessible with a normal car. At the entrance of the estate we passed through a secure gate and we had a sense of safety. We then snaked up the hill, enjoying the views, when you get all the way to the top you have arrived! Reception welcomed us in and were very helpful, we easily found our room. The rooms are spacious and have some small touches to make you feel at home. A kettle and small fridge was in our room and I recommend taking some extra tea and coffee, milk and snacks. There are no aircons but there was a heater in the bathroom and fan in the bedroom area. Due to the architecture the building retains heat very well. We woke to a beautiful sunrise down the valley, and you can really appreciate the views and the high vantage point. It is a very relaxing place and we decided to try out the spa. We booked the day before and I suggest you do the same as they can get quite busy especially on weekends. It was magnificent! I could really feel the stress leaving my body. The meals side of things is also very good. Breakfast is a buffet style and we soaked in the sun from the east, again, they had put some thought into the design of the place. For supper there is a nice dining area with a fireplace, great atmosphere and cosy. We stayed for 2 nights but if you can stay a bit longer and explore you will not be disappointed.

2 days at Kloppenheim

A venue that has such potential given its location, but it does need a capital injection to bring it into the 21st century. Internally, needs to be brighter and more appealing yet retain its German ancestry. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. No doubt a big hit with local anglers, but dubious if I would return given the cost.

ottimo albergo in posizione panoramica

ottima struttura, seppur abbastanza difficile da raggiungere, in posizione panoramica. Personale cortese e disponibile. La sera ci hanno acceso il camino! Ottimo ristorante con portate di qualità e colazione abbondante
