"The cottage was excellent, small (which is what we wanted) but very well appointed - especially the kitchen. It was clean and comfortable and the owners were on hand and very obliging. The outside area was gated, very important to keep our dog from straying or becoming a nuisance to others. We took advantage of the information provided on restaurants and places to visit and found the JFK Arboretum and beaches on the Hook peninsula just right for the dog. "This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided."
