"Lovely property, lots of space, wonderful breakfast and restaurant, courteous staff. Absolutely amazing stay."

"The lady who checked us in was friendly and kind- that was the only good thing about the place. It’s was dirty including stains the bedding, dirty bathrooms and greasy kitchen , it stunk of smoke from the open fire place and about 15 years overdue a complete overhaul. Worst place I have stayed at for a long long time ."

"A memorable stay! Very well cared for by superb host Hester and her husband farmer, paleontologist & geologist "JP"! His knowledge of fossils & the areas ~300 mio earth history was most appreciated and valuable! The amazing clear E.Cape Karoo night sky's is in tough competition with N.Cape's Sutherland. An unforgettable experience of comfort & surprises in the middle of "nowhere"!"

"Will come again purely for the breakfast. Dad with 3 girls. Everyone loved it."

"Nieu-Bethesda is a quaint little village in a spectacularly beautiful valley, just off the beaten track. The Ibis Lounge is lovely and the breakfast was very nice"

"The setting of the property in the shadow of the mountain was breathtaking. The small guest house with four rooms was clean and well decorated. However there were 3 modern rooms with largely glass windows and a beautiful view of the mountain and garden. Unfortunately the forth room which we got was an old Dutch style room with a small window that had to have the shutters close as the windows opens on to the road. The room was dark and not pleasant. The picture of the room was with the shutters...

"A little village of Obesa within Graaf Reinet - clean, safe and off street parking with well stocked self-catering area and living area in the room. Was a great stop on our ongoing nationwide road trip. Bathroom and aircon were great too."

"Beds were comfortable, rooms were super clean and the service and friendliness of the staff was superb! Breakfast was great too."

"Good value exceeded expectations the only drawback was location from town centre"

"Great place, neat, comfortable and friendly host. recommend anytime."

"I did appreciate the fact that I was accomodated for a late check-in."

"Camdeboo Cottages are located in a very safe area, you can walk everywhere in Graaff-Reinet. The welcome was a bit cold but the service was good. However breakfast wasn't brilliant although the setting was, you're seated in the shade next to the pool in the inner courtyard. You can park right in front of your cottage. The room was great and clean but dated. It is a historic monument that's recently been refurbished."
