Comfortable guesthouse and gourmet restaurant

Best place to stay in Nieu Bethesda. So comfortable, clean, centrally located. Stunning restaurant with a 6-course set menu hand-crafted by a chef who forages and grows her own ingredients. An unbelievably gourmet experience in the most beautiful village in the Karoo. This is a must-do on a Nieu Bethesda itinerary.

Great meals and atmosphere

Wonderfully friendly hosts, in a lovely guesthouse, superb food and hospitality. The hosts Johan and Barbara will bent over backwards to meet your demands. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is an old house and I found the room very hot and without the fan it would have been torture. The room had a fridge and tea and coffee facilities, a bath and shower. Very pleasant stay!

A delightful stay

What an amazing stay we had at the Ibis. Barbara our host was a delight. Nothing was any trouble to her to make us as comfortable and made us feel at home from when we arrived until we left. The dinner was define with a fire going in the background. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back. Nieu-Bethesda touched our hearts
