"We requested a quiet room away from the noisy nightclubs as I noticed some reviews saying it was loud. They listened and placed us at the back of the hotel so there was no noise at all! The room was small basic but clean and comfy enough. It was in an excellent location, you can walk practically everywhere in Belfast, it’s great! We walked to the Titanic Museum, the Crumlins prison and the SSE arena. Lots of nice restaurants and bars around. The Points bar right opposite had live Irish music and...

"Great to have a spacious room with well stocked kitchenette, king bed. Seating area with couch & table & chairs. Great modern bathroom. Spare decor but fine. Laundry room a bonus after touring around for 10 days. Fresh milk in fridge, too. Could use 2 luggage racks so suitcases wouldn’t have to be on couch or floor. Nice staff & very minimal lobby but thought it was a great hotel. "

"Tara Lodge is a hidden gem. The area around the lodge is very rundown, dirty, graffiti, etc. but it was safe and the hotel itself was very well maintained inside. The room had every amenity you need and the staff was excellent! Tara is also located near Queens University and the Ulster museum. Many restaurants in the area and we even walked to central Belfast and the Titanic Experience. Great location. Excellent custom breakfast as well. Highly recommend if you can get past the surroundings....
