Affordable price for location but standards were still held to a more than acceptable standard. When calling the hotel had issues, multiple times no one answered but check-in was fast, easy. Room was clean and all sundries were there. Free breakfast was great. The location is located right off a highway that brings you straight to both Ft Walton Beach and Destin Beach, cant get a better straight shot without staying on the beach, traffic wasn’t too loud (and I stayed in a room closest to the highway), not much walking traffic throughout the hotel. Definitely would stay again.

First let’s say the young man at the desk was awesome ! When we got to our room (about 12.30am) the large wood frame, the curtains were on the floor and had falling out of the ceiling damaging the a/c unit too. We helped the front desk guy to rig up a ‘curtain’ using the wood frame and a nail we found on property. He was sending photo’s to the manager and very apologetic. We understand it’s a freak thing and weren’t to worried about it. The next day as directed I went to talk to the manager wasn’t very nice and slightly condescending. She stated because we booked thru Expedia she ‘might’ be able to discount the room. That again was fine with us we weren’t staying there another night. On checkout the gal at the front desk was awesome very apologetic and stated she would handle the discount on Expedia. The room itself was fine but there was only a sheet on the bed and because the curtain frame fell on the A/C unit we froze and ended up sleeping in hoodies 😳 Hopefully they can finish up some of the renovations!!

The floors were very dirty, the bathroom smelled likke moldand when i first walked in it smelled like it had beren washed with clorox.it did not have a pleasant smell.The lights kept going off as it was on a timer and i could not read my bible.That was not the experience i was expecting.Thank You

Room was next to club across the street. Loud music and angry voices into mid morning. No sleep. Checked out next day. Did not stay the 2nd already paid for night. Would like a credit back to my credit card for at least the 2nd night that was prepaid as stayed only the one night. Phone in room didn’t work either but the staff on check in was helpful to room. Thank you.

Front desk and cleaning staff were both friendly. The smoking room was a little dated and somewhat dingey (what you would expect from a room people smoke in). I really enjoyed the free breakfast. Biscuits, sausage, and gravy were great..I got 2 plates! Overall, I would stay there again. Price was fair for Destin.

My only concern was that I used the washer and dryer at the Hotel and the front office staff (a male). Told me to take out clothes that were in the dryer so that I can put mine in instead of doing it himself. On the night before departure I didn’t get his name.

This was our second trip to this hotel in the last month. It is clean and within walking distance of the boardwalk at the harbor. I enjoyed talking to Sophia, Enrique, Cadine, and Taylor. Cadine had me laughing everyday! She seemed to enjoy her job. The pool was so clean and felt amazing!

For the price you can't beat it. The staff were all very nice. The breakfast was ok. It would have been nice to have any type of fresh fruit and or eggs of some sort. Was a little disappointed the pool closed at sunset. I thought 10 PM was typical But im sure they have their reasons. Overall very pleasant and would stay there again.

This is an older property but they have certainly worked up upgrading the rooms and the gardens are beautiful. Great price for such a convenient location to the Boardwalk. We will certainly stay again.

The room was clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great, just wish it was served a little longer than 9am. Overall the property was nice. Unfortunately there’s a bar behind the property that stays open until 4am. I found this out because we were woken up at 4:15am by very loud neighbors who were knocking on our door (I assume they got the wrong door) and running/talking back and forth until 6:30am. Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep on the weekends. The weekdays however it was very quiet and pleasant.

The room had moisture and had a musty mildew smell. After attempting to dry and air the room out by running the fan, leaving the door open, and spraying Lysol, it didn't help. We checked out tye same night and found a better hotel.

It was a great stay for us. This is the only hotel in a long time we've stayed at where the room didn't smell like smoke and irritate our allergies. The breakfast was ok but they should add some fruit and more cereal options for the young ones. But everyone working there was nice and helpful. The area is safe and close to everything you would want to do.
