"Can't get any better area by the Rhein. Luckily we have reserved a space for our car. Their car park is a few blocks behind the hotel. Just check in first then park your car. The room is a what I expected. Electric fan provided as ' no air con'. It is common for old building hotels have no air con. Perfect temperature to sleep would be in Winter. Great selction of breakfast food. Would love to come back for river view room next time. "

The person who checked us is in was friendly and provided us with a map and directions to the main haupstrasse district and attractions. The room was large and clean. "I enjoyed my stay at Ghotel! It is walking distance from the train station. There are a few dining options nearby but most of them are closer to the center which is about 18 minutes walk. There are buses right on front that connect the city. Strongly recommend!"

"Hotel was clean and had breakfast from 6-10 every morning for a purchase. I loved our rooms and bathroom. The place had a cozy atmosphere to it and pleasant view from my window. Each room had a portable fan and I could open the window for a fresh air! First I was disappointed that rooms had no A/C , since we were there in August. But, with windows open letting fresh mountain air in and the fan, I spent a very comfortable night there. "

"Nach fast 10 Jahren nochmals dort gewesen. Bis auf den geschlossenen Pool und anderem Besitzer alles wie früher. Super Preis-Leistungsverhätnis. Schöne funktionale Zimmer mit tollem Balkon. Frühstück war gut aber wenig Auswahl. Lag wohl an den wenigen Urlaubern. Eigentlich schade das in den letzten Jahren nicht mehr in dieses wunderschöne, geschichtliche Hotel investiert wurde. There are two kinds of rooms with a balcony and a river view, I recommend getting the larger one, if available — it is worth the price difference. (Although the smaller ones are quite fine, too). The breakfast is ok - same as in other similar hotels, maybe a little less selection. Friendly and helpful staff (Don’t forget to make special arrangements if arriving after 9pm) "
