Great location, on the shore overlooking Lake Garda . We arrived via the train, train station was about 15 minute walk down the hill. Recently refurbished room which was excellent and so was the bed. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Good location and shirt walk to shops/bars/restaurants. On the lake front with beach right outside hotel. Limited taxis in the area but good bus service to/from train station.

Fantastic Stay
Super hotel, fantastic location, 5-10 minute leisurely walk to centre of Desenzano with restaurants & cafes along the way. Hotel sits on the roadside overlooking the lake, so fabulous views while eating a super buffet breakfast. We had a lake view balcony room, which although small was spotless, modern & a very comfortable bed. There is a rooftop terrace with amazing views, yes there isn’t a pool, but the lake is literally across the road for those wanting to swim. Staff were all very friendly & there is bar service in the evenings & outdoor seating with sun canopy. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, it says it’s 3* but it far surpasses this with its location! We would have no hesitation in staying here next time in Lake Garda.

Well located for walking to tourist spots. Nice welcome. Room small and basic. Patio doors do well blocking out the traffic noise (hotel is situated on busy seafront road) but we needed earplugs to drown out noise of bar next door and internal hotel noises. Hotel has a beautiful roof terrace. Breakfast is included in price and is reasonable. Would I stay here again - probably not

Amazing staff and dog friendly option
Super friendly staff! Great choice for traveling with dogs as well. Hotel is right across a street from the lake with nearby park and beautiful promenade. Great breakfast

The location, view and balcony were great. The room itself was pretty basic (no iron, fridge, glassware etc). We enjoyed the breakfast with a lake view each morning.

We had an excellent stay in the Hotel Riviera. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. We went to Desenzano specifically for the Mille Migla and our room with balcony at the front of the hotel overlooked the route. It is a short walk from the hotel to the bustling centre of town and directly across the road is Lake Garda for an early morning swim.

Standard of room and breadth of choice and quality of breakfasts were very good. Also, very conveniently placed for the centre of Desenzano. A swimming pool would have been great but this is only one small downside of this hotel.

Good hotel great location
Good hotel stayed in classic balcony room which was basic but has everything we needed. Great location 5 min walk to main area. View from balcony wad loveley. Breakfast was good nice and fresh and always plenty available. Service could not be better always willing to help even provided us with breakfast pack as we had to check out before breakfast.

we loved the view from our room it was amazing. We didn't like that we couldn't get a kettle for our room and i was charged 3 euro for hot water and milk

Nice traditional hotel
Nice family run hotel,extremely clean and with friendly staff.room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the lake.breakfast is cold continental but has a good selection.20 min walk from train station,5 mins walk to harbour and centre so close to restaurants and shops.small convenience store 2 mins away.

I really appreciated the email they sent me before I arrived. The hotel was in a great position and our room overlooked the lake. The staff were friendly. The room was also very spacious with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. The coffee was gorgeous.

This is a very good hotel situated right by the lake, minutes from the centre of town and the ferry. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a bar and lounge area to relax in the evening. Breakfast has a good continental selection. It also has a restaurant.

Wonderful holiday
We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Riviera comfortable bed and lovely room. Breakfast was very good and breakfast waitress was so helpful as was our room cleaner. They were excellent.

Nice location
The location is perfect, we upgraded to a Comfort Room with a lake view, which I recommend. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental and plentiful. The bar is a bit tired, in terms of offerings and reception is not manned 24/7, but that did not present a problem to our group. Don't be put off by the sixty's fascia, unless you want absolute luxury. Great for a short break, just ten minutes from the train station.

Praktisches, neu renoviertes und sauberes Hotelzimmer, gutes Frühstück. Achtung bei der Buchung, die Aussicht ist nicht schön, wir schauten auf einen verdreckten Hinterhof und hatten weder Balkon noch eine Terrasse. Parkplätze leider nur gegen Gebühr 12,-€ am Tag und nicht direkt am Hotel verfügbar, ca 100 Meter entfernt. Wir würden wahrscheinlich wiederkommen, aber dann ein Zimmer mit Seeblick buchen.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura con marito e figlia di quattro anni, albergo curato e rinnovato negli interni, la nostra camera confort vista lago era nuova, funzionale e con una vista lago spettacolare. La colazione servita in una sala pulita e funzionale era ricca e varia, presenti alimenti per tutti i gusti, con prodotti freschi e genuini. Il personale della reception molto gentile e cordiale (in particolare con la sig.ra Valentina con la quale ho scambiato diverse email ed ha sempre risposto in modo fermo e rapido), meno cortese il personale della sala colazione. Consiglio questa struttura.

Hyggelig med god beliggenhet
Svært hyggelige og serviceinnstilte ansatte. Stor og fin takterrasse. God frokost. God beliggenhet. Strand rett over gaten. Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold og anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet.

Hotellin sijainti aivan Gardajärven rannassa. Kattoterassilta upeat näkymät. Aamiainen hyvä. Äänieristys hyvä, kadun ja lähikuppilan äänet ei kuulunut, kun pisti parvekkeen oven kiinni. Sai nukuttua hyvin. Henkilökunta ystävällistä.

Vi hadde rom med lake view og det var helt fantastisk. Snille og hjelpsomme personale. Beliggenheten var også helt topp med gåavstand til alle restauranter og rundt en 20min spasertur til togstasjonen. De har ikke parkering tilgjengelig på stedet men de kunne gi rabattert pris på et parkeringshus bare 2 min unna noe vi satt veldig pris på. Elsket rooftop terrassen! Kommer gledelig tilbake.
