"If you’re looking stately, refined, relaxing stay in the English countryside then Breedon Hall is the place! Sophisticated charm including personal touches by the owners make you feel right at home. "The hotel staff are very helpful and the room was lovely. Evening meal was good, although it would have been better to have more venison options ie. Burger? as the meat was promoted in other ways. Breakfast was disappointing, scrambled eggs dry and tasteless, on wholemeal bread when advertised as granary"

"I have stayed at Littleover Lodge on previous visits and so I was familiar with it. Arriving very early, I was warmly greeted at Reception and, as my room was not ready, I was offered the use of the facilities and somewhere to store my luggage. "The hotel is close to Derby Train Station and it’s an easy walk into Derby City Centre as well. Best Western Premier EMA Yew Lodge Hotel
4.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (317)
"We were booked for an overnight stay to enable a early morning start in Nottingham. This hotel used to be a favourite but has now become to corporate. £8 to park overnight for one night while a guest of the hotel is just a hidden charge that should be included in the room rate. Reception staff and manager showed appalling service. Redeeming factor was an excellent breakfast."
