Full of character and original features, it makes a quaint and homely base for couples or families wanting to explore the rural and metropolitan attractions of Derbyshire. There is lots of local walking and this really is the Gateway to the Peak District.

There is a tiered patio area with furniture to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and outlook onto open fields with gated access.

The home owners were very lovely and tried their best to accommodate us later than we had booked. Our house was flooded and they the owners did try for us. The cottage is very quaint.
